Design

The “Max K” cartridge heater is designed to withstand ever demanding requirements. Our high-density compaction process ensures maximum reliability under adverse operating conditions. Its swaged construction provides the highest possible heat transfer rates and watts density. It is resistant to impact and vibration applications and we also have the option to make with a variety of seals to suit your requirements. Recommended for temperatures up to 750°C! All of our Max K cartridge heaters are available with a built-in Thermocouple Type J or K.

Dimensional Options

There are many lead options available online which include glass fibre leads, silicon rubber leads, PTFE leads, ceramic beaded leads and more. Please advise us of the type of leads you prefer and if you would like some assistance or advice on the correct lead to use, do not hesitate to ask. When ordering our ceramic cartridge heaters, please specify the following information:

• Type of Cartridge Heater ( please refer to Termination Options ).
• Ø of Cartridge Heater.
• Overall length for a straight Cartridge Heaters.
• Inserted length for Cartridge Heaters with a 90º exit. ( allow a 13mm cold section ).
• Wattage & Voltage
• Lead type ( glass fibre / PTFE ) & lead length.
