Recommended for heating fluids when mounted inside a thermo well
in a tank or cylinder, in food production processing machinery, cooking tanks etc,
for warming air located in a pipe to produce a hot air flow such as heated guns, for
heating solids in reamed/drilled holes in tooling and engineering applications...and
many more.
Elmatic manufacture and design all ceramic cores heaters to meet with our customers' requirements. The ceramic core heater is made up of a number of
ceramic discs, which are assembled and held together on a centre bar. The number of
ceramic discs used, is denoted on the final length required by the customer. We can
make the heaters with any length cold section specified.
The elements comprise of a resistive wire ( spiral ) which are wound through the
slots in the discs, which gives the wattage and voltage required. Finally the spiral
is connected to a threaded terminal in the head of the core.
